Conserved Lands

With the support of its members, the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy (NPC) has partnered with the Bureau of Forestry, Pennsylvania Game Commission, local governments, or other conservation organizations to create new access to trails and creeks. To purchase properties to keep public hiking trails on their traditional course. To help expand the public spaces that help define the region. NPC also holds conservation easements and a facade easement. These properties are privately owned and managed while the properties help absorb rain water and snow melt to refill groudnwater tables and the trees and shrubs help clean the air.
