6/12/25 – Urban Sketch Workshop (Part of the Rivers, Coal & Crafts series!)
Bibi S. Brion will gather participants at the Blossburg Memorial Library for some basics before the group heads out to sketch along Blossburg’s Main Street. This is a free event, with all supplies provided, but spots are limited. Call the Blossburg Memorial Library at 570-638-2197 to register.
6/19/25 – 6/22/25 – Paddle Happy 2025 – West Branch Susquehanna River
NPC is once again partnering with Bad Adventures to bring Paddle Happy 2025 to the West Branch Susquehanna River!
New this year: the W&L Subaru Paddle Happy Jumbo is a one-day option on Sunday, June 22. It packs in all the fun in a shorter format—perfect for first-time paddlers, families, and seasoned river-goers alike. Thanks to W&L Subaru’s sponsorship, registration is just $49!
You can also take on the traditional Paddle Happy. This three-day guided paddle on June 19 – 21 blends outdoor adventure with live music, delicious food, and great company, all while supporting local conservation efforts across northcentral Pennsylvania. Learn more and register at paddlehappy.com
6/25/25 – Cookie Mining (part of the Rivers, Coal & Crafts series!)
Kids (and adults) can learn more about the process of mining by “mining” chocolate chip cookies for the chocolate chips. The Tioga County Conservation District will lead participants in this fun, free workshop that ends with eating an “unmined” cookie. Registration is through the Blossburg Memorial Library.
6/29/25 – NPC’s Annual Membership Meeting
NPC’s Annual Membership Meeting will take place on Sunday, June 29 from 2pm – 4pm at the NPC office. A brief membership meeting, including the election of board directors, will begin at 2:30 PM. More details…
7/20/25 – Forest Bathing at The Summit: Center for Wellness
Experience the healing power of nature as we embark on a guided journey through forest bathing with Beth Jones, Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, of Deep Green Journey. This free event is offered in partnership with the Loyalsock Foundation. Additional details coming soon!
