May 6 – Today Farms Grand Opening
Join us at the Grand Opening of Today Farms! The farm is at 215 Shady Lane, Muncy (the site of the former Tom Styers Farm), Today Farms will be home to a market filled with PA produced and grown products. On May 6 there will also be food trucks, live music, vendors, and NPC!
May 21 – An Afternoon at Muncy Farms
Spend an afternoon enjoying light hors ‘d’oeuvres, libations, and socializing in the gardens at historic Muncy Farms.
Reservations are required by th eclose of business on May 11, 2023. The cost is $60 per person. You can pay by check (PO Box 2083, Williamsport, PA 17703 please include the names for nametags) or online (use the donate button, designate it as a “dinner reservation” and include the names for nametags in the comments/notes section).
Refunds will not be given after May 11, 2023. The event will be held rain or shine.

June 10 and 11 – Paddle Happy 2023
Join NPC and Bad Adventures for two days of fun on the West Branch Susquehanna River! We’ll paddle about 7 to 9 miles each day enjoying great food and music along the way. Bad Adventures is handling reservations, so visit their website for deails and to sign up!
June 13 – Annual Membership Meeting at Herman & Luther’s
Join your fellow NPC members for dinner and the annual business meeting! We’ll have a quick program update and elect a few new board members. Reservations are due June 5, 2023 by the close of business. Invitations will be mailed out in early May.
June 24 – Family Fishing at Rose Valley Lake
Interested in learning how to fish?? Whether you’re a kid at heart of have kids, sign-up to fish with NPC, the PA Fish and Boat Commission, and STEP Head Start! We’ll be at Rose Valley Lake for a little bit of instruction and a whole lot of casting (but you can leave early if you need). Registration is required.
July 23 – Forest Bathing At Worlds End State Park
Join NPC, the Friends of Worlds End State Park, and the Loyalsock Foundation to learn more about forest bathing from Beth Jones. Beth is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and director of Deep Green Journey. We’ll meet at the LT Pavillion in the Park (look for sign).
October 11 – NPC’s Annual Tioga County Dinner
Over the years, NPC members have helped conserve and add several properties to State Game Lands 313 – locally known as “The Muck!” Once used to raise lettuce and celery, this large wetland complex is part of the headwaters to Marsh Creek, feeds Pine Creek, and is designated as one of Pennsylvania’s Important Bird Areas.
Following dinner, Rodney Mee, Lands Supervisor for the PA Game Commission, will present more about the management plans for State Game Lands 313 and other Gamelands in Tioga County.
November 1 – Nan “Dragon Fly” Reisinger on the Appalachian Trail
NPC welcomes Nan “Dragon Fly” Reisinger, the oldest woman to thru hike the Appalachian Trail, to share her story with the community at Orlando’s Restaurant in Muncy on 11/1. This FREE talk will take place at 6pm in the banquet room. Seating is first come, first serve.
November 15 – NPC’s Annual Clinton County Dinner
NPC members have played a major role in helping to conserve land and improve access to a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities throughout Clinton County. This year’s featured speaker, LaKeshia Knarr, of the PA Wilds Center, will present on the integration of conservation and economic development and its ability to strengthen and inspire Clinton county and the surrounding PA Wilds region.
