Start your year with an invigorating hike through the beautiful Coal Creek property! Join the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy (NPC) for a guided hike as we explore the natural and geological highlights of this conserved land.

🕘 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Location: Meet at Arbon Cemetery (161 Lake St, Blossburg, PA 16912)
After a brief introduction, we’ll cross the road to begin our hike. The route includes a visit to a small Abandoned Mine Drainage discharge site and a stunning vista overlooking Blossburg. The hike is at least an hour roundtrip and follows a dirt road that is somewhat rutted. Expect an uphill walk on the way out and a downhill return.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy footwear suitable for uneven terrain, and if there’s snow or ice, traction spikes or ice cleats are a must. We’ll kindly check that you have these before we begin the hike.
- Weather-appropriate clothing
