๐ฒ Get Ready to Ride! Join Us for a FREE Spring Bike Tune-up Workshop
As the weather warms up, it’s time to dust off your bicycle and get ready for some exciting rides! Join the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy and Williamsport Bicycle Recycle for a FREE Spring Bike Tune-up Workshop on Saturday, April 13th, starting at 1:00 pm. Due to the amount of interest, we’ll be hosting 2 workshops that day, the first from 1pm – 3pm, followed by a session from 3pm – 5pm. The workshops will be held at the Pajama Factory.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, this workshop is for you! Bring your own bike or work on one of the shop’s bikes. During the 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the essentials of basic bike maintenance. Our experienced volunteers will guide you through examining a bike carefully and practicing some fundamental repair skills. You’ll leave with a handy checklist, newfound skills, and increased confidence as a rider!
Registration is required to ensure that we have enough volunteers on hand for everyone to have a great experience. Please bring a water bottle and snacks, or feel free to visit the neighborhood Buzzsaw Coffee.
If your bike requires parts, our staff will discuss this with you beforehand. For anything beyond basic maintenance, you can return to Williamsport Bicycle Recycle during Tuesday hours for repairs or take your bike to your favorite local bike shop.
Once your bike is tuned up, you’ll be all set to explore the Pine Creek Rail Trail and discover access points like Tomb Flats and Cavanaugh Access, made possible by the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy!
Don’t miss out on this fun and informative Saturday afternoon! To register, please call 570-323-6222 or email hbyers@npcweb.org with your name and phone number.
Let’s make this cycling season unforgettable together! ๐๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ฟ
