Big Run drains a high elevation valley on Bald Eagle Mountain, flowing into the West Branch Susquehanna River above Williamsport. The run is classified as Exceptional Value/High Quality and supports a population of native brook trout. Its heavily wooded valley also provides habitat for a wide variety of birds and mammals. Three couples purchased this 137 acre tract of woodland and old fields which contains approximately 4,500 feet of Big Run and subsequently donated a conservation easement on the property to the Conservancy. The property is visible from U.S. Route 220 and the Village of Linden, affording the public a view of its scenic fields and forest.
