The Mountain Laurel Guild is a special group of individuals dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of our region. By making unrestricted gifts of at least $1,000 annually, members of the Mountain Laurel Guild play a crucial role in supporting NPC’s ongoing conservation efforts and long term goals.
As a member of the Mountain Laurel Guild, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including project updates and invites to special events. The Guild’s annual gathering provides a unique opportunity to connect with fellow Guild members, share experiences, and learn more about the impactful projects underway that YOU made possible.
You may wonder why NPC chose the name “Mountain Laurel Guild” for this giving circle. The decision was inspired by the remarkable conservation story of the mountain laurel itself. In 1913, Elizabeth Britton recognized the urgent need to conserve mountain laurel, as excessive harvesting for floral arrangements threatened its existence. Thanks to early conservation efforts, mountain laurel has made a remarkable comeback, thriving in our forests today.
Your support for the Mountain Laurel Guild is not just a donation; it’s a commitment to writing new conservation success stories every day. Together, we are ensuring that future generations can enjoy the beauty and biodiversity of Pennsylvania’s wild places.
We look forward to welcoming you as a member of the Mountain Laurel Guild!
