Urban Sketch Workshop with Bibi S. Brion
Thursday, June 12, 2025
1:00 PM – 3:00PM
Blossburg Memorial Library
307 Main Street, Blossburg, PA 16912
As part of the Rivers, Coal & Crafts series, join local artist Bibi S. Brion for a relaxed afternoon of observation and creativity. The group will gather at the Blossburg Memorial Library at 1:00PM for a brief introduction to urban sketching before heading out to capture the charm of Main Street Blossburg on paper.
In the event of rain, we’ll stay dry and inspired under the covered plaza near the library.
This free workshop includes all art supplies—just bring a chair, a snack, and something to drink. No experience necessary, but space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early!
Call the Blossburg Memorial Library at 570-638-2197 to register.
Blossburg’s rich coal mining history and the ongoing restoration of the Tioga River are coming together! Rivers, Coal & Crafts is an exciting series of community events that launched this spring, connecting residents and visitors with the land, water, and stories that shaped this region.
Through hands-on workshops, craft projects, and storytelling, participants of all ages are learning about the decades-long impacts of Abandoned Mine Drainage (AMD) on the Tioga River—and how the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy and its partners are working together to restore the river and its surrounding landscape for future generations.
